What to Keep in the Tool Bag

Visual & Mechanical

Use a phone flashlight to circle the unit. Look for “shiny wet spots” on welds, flanges, and plate gaskets.

Disposable gloves, absorbent paper

Instruments & Valves

Tap pressure gauges—pointers should not stick; lift the safety-valve lever—it should snap back with a click.

PTFE tape, adjustable wrench

Media Compatibility

Write design T / P on a sticky label at the inlet. One glance prevents mis-connection.

Oil-based marker tags



② First Commissioning “Slow-Three-Step” (prevents 90 % of water hammer & leaks)

  1. Cold side first: open valve to 10 %only; wait for the hiss of venting air, then open fully and slowly.
  2. Hot side second: ramp temperature ≤1.5 °C / min—about the speed a cup of tea cools.
  3. Baseline selfie: take a phone photoof the initial ΔT and ΔP; this becomes your “health passport” for futurechecks.

Factory Pre-Fit “Insurance”

What to Do on Site

High Pressure ≥ 10 MPa

Hydro test at 1.5 × design pressure (report included); nickel-alloy gaskets.

Step-up pressure in 25 % stages—set a 15 min phone alarm between stages.

Low Temp ≤ –20 °C

Extra 20 mm insulation + roll of aluminum tape supplied.

Pre-cool with dry N, max 2 °C / min ramp.

Corrosive Media

Upgraded tubes (2205/2507 or Ti) + corrosion-inhibitor injection port.

Inject inhibitor 30 min before start-up; keep a 200 ml sample.

Fouling Risk

Internal EP finish Ra ≤ 0.4 µm + on-line anti-scale tap.

If ΔP rises 15 % above baseline, switch to standby unit and alert our service WeChat.
